Rev. Kathy Wonson Eddy
Senior Pastor and
Composer-in-Residence
Kathy has served Bethany since 1976. A graduate of Middlebury College (with a major in music) and Yale Divinity School, Kathy provides pastoral care, preaching and worship leadership, supervision of all church committees and projects, and newly composed music to illumine scriptural themes in worship. Kathy enjoys gardening, sewing, cross-country skiing, walking, making music, and being with her husband and two grown sons and their families. Learn more about Kathy's music. Email Kathy.
Rev. Robin Junker
Associate Pastor and Youth Minister
Robin began serving Bethany in 2002. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College in 1993 and a Master’s of Psychology and Religious Studies from Andover Newton Theological School in 1997. Robin leads all youth programming including youth groups, Sunday School and family outreach. She enjoys learning the fiddle, snowshoeing with her two boys, studying theology and going to hear live music. Email Robin.

Gene Woodward
Facilities Caretaker
A Vermont native, Gene Woodward grew up in Connecticut where he worked in retail and manufacturing for several years. His schooling included journeyman electrician appliance repair prior to attending Eastern Connecticut State University, where he studied psychology before moving back to Vermont with his wife, Helene. While living in CT, they took in several foster children, and each have children of their own. Gene began working as facilities caretaker at Bethany in 2003. He also does facility maintenance for the Village Laundromat and Chandler Music Hall. Gene and Helene are active in the Randolph Area Food Shelf , and together keep the buildings at Bethany clean and ready for the events that occur at the church. Email Gene.

Marta Borgstrom graduated from William Paterson University in New Jersey in 1971. After teaching elementary music for six years in NJ she moved to Vermont to begin a teaching job in Winooski. After three years as an elementary music teacher there, she came to Randolph and is still teaching in the Randolph Elementary School. She is the accompanist for Sounding Joy and The Randolph Singers . In 1997 Marta became the choir director at Bethany. She feels blessed that Bethany has such a wide range of talents. Marilyn Polson - Organist
Marilyn has been the organist of Bethany Church for 20 years. She has studied with Lynnette Combs and Laurence Leonard. After what could have been a disastrous fire in 1992, she initiated the process of forming the committee that oversaw the cleaning and renovation of the church's Hutchings organ and planned the organ's centennial celebration in 1994. A former dean of the Vermont Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, she now serves as the northern New England District Convener for the A.G.O.'s Region One. She is also a member of the Organ Historical Society, an organization that promotes the appreciation and preservation of historic organs such as Bethany's instrument. Email Marilyn.
Laurence Leonard – Honorary Associate Organist
A resident of Laconia, NH, Larry is a native of Randolph, VT, where he studied both piano and organ with Florence Scholl Cushman. He served as the organist of the United Baptist Church and St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, both in Laconia for 24 years and 19 years respectively. Since he left those positions, he spends more time in Randolph playing both organ and piano duets and duets with Bethany's organist Marilyn Polson and substituting as necessary. He was named Honorary Associate Organist in 2009.
