• Advocacy Committee looks at contemporary world problems and issues, and decides which ones to involve the congregation in, raising awareness or working for change.
• Encouragement Trust for Spiritual Renewal involves members of the diaconate and at-large members who plan events, retreats, speakers, classes, or trips to offer deepening spiritual development and refreshment.
• Music Committee is comprised of members of the diaconate and other interested individuals who plan the offertory schedules, discuss special musical programs and work with the organist, choir director and pastors to create music that is of high standard but not a “performance”: all our music is offered lovingly to God.
• Hospitality Committee includes volunteers who organize receptions at funeral services for church members, meals for church families with new babies, or for family members who are ill.
• Centennial Building Committee is comprised of interested persons from throughout Bethany’s membership. The committee has been delegated to assist the council and congregation in developing funding and constructing renovations, repairs and new building spaces which will provide Bethany to room to grow during its second century.
